ZucoraHome named finalist for London business award
LONDON, Ontario – ZucoraHome, a provider of mattress protectors and other furniture and home care products, has been named a finalist in the Large-Sized Business category of the London Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 Business Achievement Awards. Other finalists in the category include Nestlé Canada, Carfax Canada, and PSD, a local research organisation specialising in municipal affairs.
The Business Achievement Awards have celebrated this southwestern Ontario city’s business community since 1984 by rewarding the growth, innovation and contributions of businesses small and large. The organisers hold a gala celebration attracting over a thousand attendees each March to recognize those businesses and to announce the winners in each category.
“Our entire team is delighted with this exciting news,” ZucoraHome president and chief executive officer Brad Geddes said in a statement. “For more than 40 years we’ve had the pleasure of serving Canadians by helping them repair and replace home furnishings, appliances and bedding products. We are fortunate to have the benefit of decades-long relationships with many of Canada’s leading home furnishing retailers which has contributed to our growth and success. We are thrilled to be recognized by the London Chamber of Commerce and very honoured to be among the esteemed finalists of this year’s awards.”
In February 2019, ZucoraHome was named one of the city’s Best Places to Work by London Inc. magazine.
The chamber also announced that Tepperman’s, the six-unit full-line furniture retailer with stores throughout southwestern Ontario, including London, was named a finalist in the award’s Corporate Social Responsibility category.
The 37th annual Business Achievement Awards will be held on 25 March 2020 at London’s RBC Place.
