Sunpan open for HPM
TORONTO – Contemporary furniture resource Sunpan will be open for business in its new showroom at the upcoming fall edition of the High Point Market, which will open for a pandemic-inspired nine-day run next week.
“Despite all the challenges of the world today, we are dedicated to providing our partners the highest quality home furnishings and best customer service in the industry. With that said, we absolutely cannot wait for customers to visit our newly expanded showroom at High Point Market,” company president and chief executive officer Sundeep Baga said in a statement. “Our space has doubled to 40,000 square feet, which has allowed us to merchandise so many new collections and categories including our new Domestic line, Outdoor by Sunpan, Luxe Art and much, much more.”
Baga noted to ensure the safety of both Sunpan’s staff and market attendees, showroom capacity will be limited and masks are required for entry. “Sanitizer stations will be installed throughout our showroom as well,” he said, adding, “Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no food or beverage services in our showroom.”
The new permanent Sunpan showroom can be found in space 1200 of the Showplace building in downtown High Point. While appointments are not mandatory they are strongly recommended. The company advises retailers planning to attend the market to contact their sales representative or e-mail them to arrange a time to visit.
For those unable to attend High Point Market – which opens on October 13 and runs until October 21 – a virtual tour of the new showroom will be available, via their web site, in the coming weeks.
