Sarmazian opens third store
WATERLOO, Ontario – Sarmazian Brothers Flooring opened its third store on Weber Street North, directly across from this city’s famous St. Jacob’s Farmer’s Market, earlier this month.
It joins existing stores in the nearby communities of Guelph and Cambridge.
In a statement, the family-owned retailer said the showroom will provide customers with a relaxed and contemporary showroom that features the latest product from the best brands in the flooring industry from hardwood, to carpet, to ceramic tiles and more. The Waterloo store will also carry Farrow & Ball paint and wallpaper from England.
Sarmazian Brothers is a full-service flooring retailer and installer, catering to a variety of customers including retail, builder, commercial, designers and contractors.
“We are a third-generation, family-run business that is excited to bring decades of experience and knowledge to the Waterloo community. We look forward to establishing new relationships and strengthen existing ones with the added convenience of our new location. We are both excited and honoured to open our new store in Waterloo,” managing director Raffi Sarmazian said.
“We care about our customers needs and what they want. Our customers are what keeps us going and strong. That’s why at Sarmazians we treat all of our customers like family and do what’s right for them”, he continued.
The company was founded in 1970 by four brothers: Tony, Harry, Steve and Jack Sarmazian, who launched the company as installers. It is a past recipient of the Flooringcovering Institute of Ontario’s Dealer of the Year award and is the developer of the kneeless carpet stretcher.
