Registration opens for first Casual Market Atlanta
ATLANTA, Georgia – Registration is now open for the inaugural Casual Market Atlanta, an all-new outdoor and casual furnishings trade event that will be held at AmericasMart here from July 10 to 13.
In a statement, the organizers said they expect some 50-plus permanent showrooms and more than 100 temporary exhibitors to participate in the event. Hallmarks of the Casual Market experience including the International Casual Furnishings Association’s (ICFA) annual Awards Gala and charitable giving opportunities, plus new educational and networking opportunities will enhance the market experience for buyers and sellers alike.
At least three Canadian outdoor furniture specialists are expected to participate in the event including Jardin Couture, Ratana and C.R. Plastics.
“After years of envisioning, planning and building, Casual Market Atlanta is coming to fruition,” said Bob Maricich, chief executive officer of International Market Centers (IMC), which owns AmericasMart and is organizing the event. “We look forward to welcoming Casual Market exhibitors and attendees to Atlanta as we embark together on a new era for the industry.”
Until last year, the annual casual market had been held at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago.
“All attendees should take the time now to quickly pre-register for what promises to be an exceptional presentation of outstanding products for outdoor living,” added Jackie Hirschhaut, executive director of the ICFA. “I think that casual furnishings buyers will be very impressed by this sparkling new showcase of outdoor furniture and accessories.”
