PayBright to showcase instant POS financing at 2018 CFS
MISSISAUGA, Ontario – A first time exhibitor, PayBright will showcase its point-of-sale financing system to retail buyers attending the Canadian Furniture Show, which opens for its three-day run at the International Centre here this Friday morning (25 May 2018).
In a statement, the Toronto-based company said it provides friendly, transparent financing to Canadians at the point-of-sale, both online and in-store. PayBright is partnered with over 3,000 merchants across the country and said it is also the first financing provider to offer e-commerce payment plans in Canada, working with e-commerce retailers such as Wayfair.ca as well as mattress specialists Endy and Casper.
“We look forward to meeting furniture retailers from across the country and discussing how instant financing can help grow their sales,” Wayne Pommen, PayBright president and chief executive officer said. “Financing is a powerful tool to assist customers with purchases that cost $500 or more, so furniture retailers are very well positioned to benefit.”
He added merchants using PayBright have seen sales increases of as much as 30% through attracting new customers, increasing conversion rates, and increasing average order values. Customers benefit by spreading the cost of larger purchases into monthly installments. Through PayBright, merchants can also offer their customers promotional financing such as 0% interest.
PayBright provides both merchants and customers with a simple and easy process to complete transactions in-store and online. Applications can be made through a tablet, smartphone, or computer and the entire process can be completed in less than a minute.
“We welcome furniture retailers to come and see us for a live demo of our instant financing process,” Vassil Chalashkanov, senior vice president of sales and marketing said. “We believe the customer and merchant experience is the best available in Canada.”
PayBright does not require customers to sign up for a credit card, he continued, and doesn’t charge hidden fees, punitive interest rates, or pre-payment penalties. Operating since 2009, PayBright is backed by major Canadian financial institutions and has approved approximately $350 million consumer credit since inception.
At the 2018 Canadian Furniture Show, PayBright will be located in booth 2274.
