Magnussen launches iCatalog app
NEW HAMBURG, Ontario (21 November 2011) - Magnussen Home Furnishings has launched a new mobile application, or app, called the iCatalog which will enable its sales representatives to show the case goods resource's product line on an iPad and enhance their presentations to retailers.
"We work very hard to introduce great products, and now we have an innovative way to present them to our customers," Magnussen senior vice president of merchandising, marketing and sales Nathan Cressman said in a statement. "Our iCatalog app is going to help us showcase our products and quickly get the information to our sales representatives that they need in order to help them sell more effectively."
The Magnussen iCatalog app's key features include the following:
Showcases products: the product photos seen on the iPad screen are bold and brilliant; show in both large, vibrant room scenes and silhouettes. Users can easily zoom in and out on product details.
Multiple product information and views: The app allows searches by group name, number and lifestyle, provides product detail information, group views, item views, and the ability to finger swipe from group to group and item to item.
E-mailing and printing capabilities: group views and item views can be e-mailed to the customer or printed from the app.
Create and send presentations: The app allows sales reps to create customized customer presentations that can then be e-mailed to customers or printed.
Access to presentation documents: Specific documents pertinent to sales rep presentations are also accessible within the app including brochures, corporate presentations, special program information, and promotional information.
Operates anywhere: The app operates everywhere even without a Wi-Fi or 3G connection. Its local database ensures a quick interactive experience not dependent on internet access.
