LVM unveils new site
LAS VEGAS – International Market Centers (IMC), owners and operators of the twice-yearly Las Vegas Market (LVM), has launched a new propriety web site which it said was designed to highlight products and categories and simplify market planning for attending retail buyers and other industry professionals.
The site – located at lasvegasmarket.com – went live last week and is the culmination of two years of research, planning and implementation, according to IMC officials, who also noted it features a content-rich exhibitor directory.
“We are thrilled to bring this new tool to our exhibitor and buyer partners,” Dorothy Belshaw, president of gift leasing and chief marketing officer, said in a statement. “This first release in our digital strategy is a result of listening, learning and putting our customers at the center of all decisions. We will continue to refine, enhance and personalise these digital tools in the coming months and beyond.”
Belshaw noted the goal of the new site and digital tools is to enhance access to and discovery of LVM exhibitors and to provide buyers with tools that will make market planning more strategic, effective and efficient.
“This is an industry-first database of products available at Las Vegas Market, tied to both exhibitors and their lines,” Belshaw said. “Exhibitors and lines can add to and refresh their database over time to help buyers search, filter, sort, discover and plan like never before.”
The new Exhibitor Directory features a search tool based on key words and relevancy tied to both exhibitors and products. Exhibitors and lines who complete their profile and share product information and images will be more visible on the site and app and will benefit from enhanced, content-rich listings including a featured image, catalogs and products available at market.
Buyers, designers and market attendees can access new Market Planner tools that allow users to create and customise their preferred exhibitor lists, increasing navigation and time efficacy at market. Floor maps to showrooms have been integrated into exhibitor profiles, and integrated market registration details, including Scan & Go QR codes, are available to users who have created an account.

Officials believe LVM is the fastest growing gift and home décor market in the United States and presents more than 4,000 gift, home décor and furniture resources at the World Market Center here twice each year.
The Summer 2018 edition of the Las Vegas Market will run from 29 July to 02 August 2018.
In addition to LVM, IMC also owns and operates a number of exhibit buildings in High Point, North Carolina and is a major player in the furniture market held there in April and October each year. It has its own web site at imcenters.com.
