High Point Market Authority opens registration for spring market
HIGH POINT, North Carolina – Registration for the upcoming spring 2022 edition of the High Point Market is now open for retail home furnishings buyers, exhibitors, industry professionals, press, and students. The first of this year’s two furniture trade events here is scheduled to begin on Saturday, April 2 for its normal five-day run.
Interested industry professionals can register online at www.highpointmarket.org/register.
In a statement, the High Point Market Authority (HPMA) is encouraging those thinking about attending the spring market to begin planning their visit now, especially with the dates being so early in April this cycle.
After registering online, attendees can contact Travel Quest to lock in overnight accommodations and travel arrangements, after which their focus can shift to scheduling showroom appointments and adding events to their personalized MyMarket schedule. A full planning checklist is available at www.highpointmarket.org/plan-your-trip.
Canadian retailers and interior designers are also urged to check with their local health units and Global Affairs before traveling outside the country.
HPMA is also promising a robust lineup of educational and social events across the market district and noting the online event calendar is expected to go live on its web site in mid-February.
“High Point Market has become a reliable source of COVID-fatigue relief with there being such a strong desire for face-to-face interactions,” HPMA president and chief executive officer Tom Conley said. “The industry is eager to engage their suppliers directly, rekindle connections, and satisfy their appetite for inspiration. They’ll find all of this – and more – right here in High Point.”
Any qualified Canadian attendee registering prior to March 4 will have their pass mailed to them. Online registration will remain open for onsite pass pick up until 5pm Eastern time on March 30. After this time, the $30 onsite processing fee for passes will go into effect for those who choose not to register in advance.
For registration assistance, the High Point Market Authority can be reached at (336) 869-1000 during normal business hours or by e-mailing email@example.com.
