HPMA opens registration desk for spring market

 6 February 2023     HGO Staff

HIGH POINT, North Carolina – The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) has opened online registration for the Spring 2023 edition of the High Point Market, which will open for its usual five-day run April 22.

Registration is open to both U.S.-based and international home furnishings buyers – including retailers and interior designers – as well as to exhibitors, industry professionals, press, and students. Click here to register for the event.

In a statement, HPMA encourages participants to begin their spring market planning early. After registering online, attendees may contact Travel Quest, the authority’s approved concierge to secure overnight accommodations, flights, and to make other travel arrangements.

Showplace (seen here), home to Canadian resource Sunpan, is one of the estimated 180 buildings that make up twice-yearly High Point Market, believed to be the largest furniture trade event in the world.Attendees are also invited to begin making individual showroom appointments with exhibitors, and to customize their trade show schedule using the HPMA’s own MyMarket app, which may be downloaded to desktop and iOS devices.

Educational and social events taking place in showrooms and buildings across the 13-block Market District will be listed in the High Point Market web site’s online event calendar beginning in late February. Event details may be added to an individual’s MyMarket schedule directly from the website or app.

Qualified Canadian attendees who register prior to March 24 will receive their market pass by mail. Online registration will remain open until 5pm (Eastern Time) on April 19. After this time, a $30 processing fee will be charged for passes requested onsite.

“We know that attendees who begin their planning early will enjoy a more productive market experience,” HPMA president and chief executive officer Tammy Nagem said. “There are a variety of useful resources to take advantage of, and our team is here to help.”

Approximately 50 or so Canadian furniture resources are expected to show at the spring edition of the twice-yearly furniture trade event.

To request assistance with registration, contact the High Point Market Authority directly at (336) 869-1000 during normal business hours or e-mail registration@highpointmarket.org
