HPMA adds own web site
HIGH POINT, North Carolina – The High Point Market Authority (HPMA), has debuted a new web site aimed at outlining its unique role and responsibilities as the official sponsor and organiser of the twice-yearly High Point Market.
Located at www.highpointmarketauthority.org, the new site will operate alongside the existing trade show web site, www.highpointmarket.org, which will continue to serve as a reference point for all market exhibitors and attendees, featuring registration information, exhibitor links, product guides, program updates, event calendars, industry articles, and other resources.
While it is inextricably linked to High Point Market, HPMA said in a statement that the new web site is a platform for outlining its role and the impact it has as well as further defining its identity and sharing information with individuals and entities outside of the home furnishings industry. It will also provide a deeper understanding of the organization’s contributions to the economy of the local community and the state of North Carolina.
“This new web site brings to the forefront a more comprehensive understanding of High Point Market’s reach and the governing body that guides it. It allows us to more fully tell the story about who the market authority is and what it does,” HPMA president and chief executive officer Tom Conley said.
A new logo specific to HPMA debuts with the web site launch and will be used in addition to the existing High Point Market logo. The market authority logo, including a tagline reference to its sponsorship of market, will be integrated into programs developed and executed by market authority staff, such as Style Spotters and Keynote Series, communications with government entities and community partners, sponsored elements, staff communications, and other marketing vehicles as needed.
The High Point Market Authority was established in 2001 to coalesce the High Point Market structure, which for several decades had operated in a fragmented manner. Founded to serve as an ally to all parties involved with the trade show, the authority has fully unified operational logistics including registration, transportation, and travel planning, and implements cohesive, strategic marketing, branding, and communications for High Point Market overall.
