HIGH POINT, North Carolina – Registration for the Spring 2019 edition of the High Point Market (HPM) is now open for buyers, international buyers, exhibitors and other industry professionals. The event is scheduled to run from Saturday, 06 April to Wednesday 10 April.

Its organisers like to position the twice-yearly event as the Fashion Week for home furnishings, noting online registration is available at www.highpointmarket.org/register. Questions can be directed to (336) 869-1000 or [email protected].

Showplace is one of the 180 buildings that make up the High Point Market.“2018 was a great year for High Point Market on several fronts and a strong year for our industry as a whole,” Tom Conley, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority (HPMA) said in a statement. “We are looking to build on these highlights and generate even more excitement and growth throughout 2019. We’re seeing showroom expansions, new construction, heightened buyer engagement, increased program development, and many other encouraging factors that give us great positivity heading into the 2019 markets.”

Approximately 85 Canadian resources – ranging from furniture manufacturers to such as Palliser, Canadel and Décor-Rest to accessory vendors such as Renwil – are expected to exhibit at the spring market.  With 11.5 million square feet of show space spanning over 180 buildings, HPM is the largest home furnishings trade show in the world. It brings more than 75,000 people here every six months to view product from more than 2,000 exhibitors.
