Flexiti signs Mobilia
TORONTO – Flexiti Financial has signed on to provide its omni-channel zero per cent consumer financing service to Mobilia, the Montreal-based modern furniture specialist.
In a statement, Flexiti said with its ‘buy now, pay later’ service, Mobilia’s customers will be able to apply for its self-branded credit card in-store or online and receive a response within minutes. Upon approval, it can then be used to make purchases. The process is automated and paperless, offering qualified customers a revolving credit line and flexible payment plans with 0% interest financing options, eliminating the need to re-apply when financing future purchases.
Mobilia customers will be able to apply for and make purchases with their FlexitiCard online starting in September, with in-store functionality launching this fall.
"For over 50 years, Mobilia’s customers have benefitted from our range of new and exciting home furnishings,” company president Johannes Kau said in a statement. “Our focus has been on providing our customers not only with elevated home designs, but also affordable prices and great service. With Flexiti’s financing platform, we look forward to delivering products that meet our exceptional quality-price-style ratio.”
“We are proud to welcome another high-quality retailer to the Flexiti network,” Flexiti founder and chief executive officer Peter Kalen added. “Mobilia’s commitment to design, quality and affordability has created a strong reputation among their customers. We are excited to add Flexiti’s 0% interest financing plans to their already strong value proposition.”
Founded in Montreal by Hans Kau in 1966, Mobilia operates ten stores in Quebec and Ontario.
Flexiti provides consumer financing to some 5,000 store locations from coast-to-coast, partnering with a number of furniture, mattress, electronics and appliance retailers including Leon’s, The Brick, Wayfair, Lastman’s Bad Boy, Alexanian’s, EQ3, Viaions Electronics and, most recently, Canadian Appliance Source.
