Flexiti signs CAS
TORONTO – Flexiti Financial, will provide its point-of-sale ‘buy now, pay later’ consumer financing solution to all 27 Canadian Appliance Source (CAS) stores across the country, including its 0% interest offer.
In a statement, the privately held fin-tech specialist said that under the program, CAS customers will be able to easily apply for a FlexitiCard and receive a response within minutes. The FlexitiCard can be used to make purchases in any of the white goods specialist’s 27 stores servicing Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, Nova Scotia and Manitoba.
The process is both automated and paperless. It results in offering qualified customers a revolving credit line and flexible payment plans with 0% interest financing options, eliminating the need to reapply for financing for future purchases.
“Our focus at Canadian Appliance Source is to provide custom and personalized assistance and exceptional prices to our customers,” Canadian Appliance Source director of sales Terry Robar said in a statement. “Having 0% financing options available for our customers not only makes their purchases more affordable, but also ensures every customer who shops with us is confident they made the right choice buying from us.”
“More and more customers are looking for financing options for big ticket purchases,” said Peter Kalen, Flexiti chief executive officer. “We are proud to welcome Canadian Appliance Source to the Flexiti network to help customers get top quality appliances for their home.”
Flexiti provides consumer financing to some 5,000 store locations from coast-to-coast, partnering with a number of furniture, mattress, electronics and appliance retailers including Leon’s, The Brick, Wayfair, Lastman’s Bad Boy, Alexanian’s, EQ3 and, most recently, Visions Electronics.
Founded in 2008, CAS is a white goods specialist and is expected to open its 28th store sometime this month in the Macleod Plaza in Calgary. This will be its second store in the city and its fourth in Alberta.
