Dimplex relocates HPM showroom
CAMBRIDGE, Ontario – Decorative fireplace specialist Dimplex will relocate its showroom to the seventh floor of the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) in time for the upcoming fall edition of the High Point Market (HPM).
In prior markets, Dimplex had a showroom in Showplace on the other side of the Transportation Terminal from IHFC in downtown High Point, North Carolina.
The fall edition of market will open for its normal five-day run on 13 October 2018.
“We’re so excited to unveil the new space. We really wanted to enhance our customers’ experience, and the new space allows us to place our case goods on display. We pride ourselves on gathering feedback as part of our design process, and the new showroom enables buyers to focus on the products before them with an uninterrupted eye,” according to Howie Cooperstein the company’s vice president of retail sales.
“The new space is an upgrade from our showroom in the Showplace building and will follow a similar ‘vignette’ style that we’ve adopted in our Las Vegas showroom,” he added.
After many successful markets in the Showplace building, the Dimplex product line is relocating to IHFC space H745 which Cooperstein said has been designed to feel warm and inviting, symbolic of their iconic electric fireplaces.
The new space is twice the size – in terms of square feet – when compared to their previous showroom and should provide exposure to a greater number of buyers as many of Dimplex’s neighbours on the seventh floor offer similar and complementary product lines.
In addition to High Point, Dimplex also has a permanent showroom in space 1052 of Building ‘A’ in the World Market Center, Las Vegas.
