Décor Rest moving HPM showroom
TORONTO – Décor Rest Furniture will move into a brand new showroom in time for the spring edition of the High Point Market while using the occasion to add two new categories, motion upholstery and dining roo, to its product assortment. Both are part of the Canadian company’s ongoing efforts to grow its business in the United States.
The spring edition of the High Point Market kicks off for its usual five-day run on 14 April.
“We’re on the fast track and moving quickly to keep pace with the new realities of today’s changing retail market, consumer preferences and the needs of our dealers, particularly in the U.S.,” J.R. Marzilli, president of the family-owned and operated company, said in a statement.
“Due to our continued growth trajectory and expansion into new categories, we’ve been searching for a new, larger and more centrally located showroom for some time now. We’re excited to report that this market, we’ll be welcoming market-goers and the media to a spacious new showroom in the heart of High Point, conveniently located on the second floor of the Plaza Suites,” he added.
It can be found in space 212.
The company was previously located on Jacob’s Place.
At some 14,000 square feet, Marzilli said the showroom will afford the additional space the company requires to display not only the fashion-forward upholstered furniture designs Décor Rest is known for, but also room for the introduction of new product categories like motion and dining room furniture, and to expand its line-up of globally sourced accent furniture.
In addition to High Point, Décor Rest maintains permanent showrooms at its factory and head office in Toronto as well as in the World Market Center in Las Vegas.
