HIGH POINT, North Carolina (07 November 2011) - Canadian furniture designer Normand Couture won two awards in two distinct categories in this year's Pinnacle Design Achievement Awards competition, organized by the American Society of Furniture Designers (ASFD).

In their comments, the judges' noted: "The versatility of the Evasion sectional from Couture International makes this frame a winner in the stationary upholstery category. Suitable for placement indoors or outdoors, the components can be arranged in a wide range of configurations. The relaxed styling also carries a reasonable price point."
The second award was for the Embrace sectional which was entered in the competition's ‘summer/casual' categories on behalf of Couture Jardin.
"The flexibility of the modular elements in the Embrace sectional gives Couture Jardin top marks in the summer and casual category," the judges remarked. "The innovative combination of materials and colors exudes a look with superior comfort."
