CNW to host virtual appliance service leader conference
MONTREAL – Cantrex Nationwide (CNW) is set to host its first-ever Service Leaders Network Conference, a virtual event designed to support and grow the independent appliance retailer’s service department. It will be held this coming May 13 and 14.
Hosted in collaboration with its parent company – the Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based Nationwide Marketing Group (NMG) – the buying group is promising the two-day event will offer value-added, practical and tangible programs, services and educational courses for appliance sales and service retailers across both Canada and the United States.
“With 27 business- and training-oriented sessions scheduled, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the Service Leaders Network, meet with OEM manufacturers in live roundtable sessions, watch business and field service vendor demos, learn about new products and servicing techniques, and network with hundreds of fellow service retailers across North America through our virtual platform,” CNW said in a statement.
The group believes this will be the first-ever service training convention for the appliance industry and is free to attend for all appliance service retailers, regardless of their membership in either Cantrex Nationwide or NMG. Registration is not dependent on group affiliation.
“Independent appliance retailers who already have a service department or are contemplating service and repair as a new business opportunity can learn more about running an efficient and profitable service department during this two-day event,” CNW said.
The live roundtable sessions, featuring product and expertise from GE Appliances and Whirlpool, includes the following:
- Management and solutions sessions delivered by Fred’s Appliance Academy, Master Samurai, Marcone Supply, Reliable Appliance Parts, SkillsUSA and Nationwide Marketing Group;
- Demonstrations of business and field service management software systems from Corrigo/QuickBooks, ePASS, Reliable Softworks, Rossware and ServicePower; and,
- Technician training delivered directly by vendor partners, including Bosch, Electrolux, Fred’s Academy, GE Appliances, LOKRING, Master Samurai, Samsung, Speed Queen and Whirlpool.
With a total of 27 courses over the two days, CNW notes attendees can’t be in more than one place at a time, so the group has committed to keeping the recorded sessions available to attendees for up to 30 days after the event ends.
