BSH names Wang and Hagen to sales management team
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – BSH Home Appliances Limited (Canada), makers of major home appliance brands Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau, has named company veteran David Wang vice president of national accounts sales and marketing. He will report to chief executive officer Dale Elliott.
His promotion was effective July 1, 2022.
Wang previously held the role of western region sales manager. In that role, he consistently grew the business in the west, adding new accounts and expanding market share.
“David applies his tenacity and talent to every challenge, with good humour and optimism. Applying these traits, I know he will develop the national account business just as effectively,” Elliott said in a statement.
Wang brings 19 years of experience in the appliance industry to his new role. “I’m very thankful to the western team and the customers I was able to serve. They trusted me and prepared me to have this new opportunity,” he said.
BSH Home Appliances also announced Shelley Hagen has been promoted to the role of regional sales manager for the west. She will lead the team of district sales managers to maintain the strong customer relationships while optimizing sales performance with BSH home appliance retailer partners across Western Canada. Her appointment was effective August 7.
During her five-year tenure as the BSH western region builder sales manager, Hagen won several major projects including the Brentwood development and Lougheed Highway project.
“Shelley achieved significant wins with these prestigious developments. She brings in-depth product knowledge and exemplary customer service to every project, and it shows,” according to Greg Bourne, BSH Canada vice president of sales.
“I grew up in the family business, so appliances are in my DNA. Working in the store early on was a great education, both in the products and in service,” Hagen said.
