51 Canadians to show at LVM

 7 January 2019     HGO Staff

LAS VEGAS – Some 51 Canadian resources are expected to exhibit when the Winter 2019 edition of the Las Vegas Market opens for its usual five-day run at the World Market Center here on Sunday 27 January.

Owned and operated by International Market Centers (IMC), Las Vegas Market is believed to be the largest furniture market in the western United States, with more than four million square feet of display space and 2,000 furniture lines presented on 32 showroom floors. It has also dedicated two floors in the World Market Center to casual and outdoor furniture, which is being increasingly sought after by mainstream, full-line furniture retailers in both Canada and the U.S.

In recent years, the winter version of the twice-yearly trade event has become known as the U.S. bedding market as the top 14 producers – including those with a strong presence in the Canada market – use it as the platform to launch the year’s new product assortments.

Canada’s is also the largest non-U.S. delegation of exhibitors at the market and is represented across its three major product categories: furniture, home décor and gift.
