Phoenix moves into new head office PDF Print E-mail
Written by Michael J. Knell

BOWMANVILLE, Ontario - Phoenix AMD International has moved into a new head office and warehouse facility here.

"Over the past few years, our growth has been virtually exponential. Retailers are constantly searching for new ways to generate more profit dollars, especially in a retail environment dominated by ever cheaper imports," said Albert Marrache, president and chief executive officer.

The new facility - triple the size of the company's old head office in Ajax, Ontario - will house all of customer service and logistical operations for Phoenix, marketer of the Excelsior brand of extended warranties and added-value products for furniture retailers.

"Our service times for both our retail partners and consumers with warranty claims will speed up considerably thanks to the efficiencies our new head office provides," Marrache said, adding the new warehouse will be able to keep immediately available back-up supplies of its most popular profit producers including its recently introduced high-efficiency laundry soap, area rugs, sheets, linens and point-of-purchase materials for each of the company's extended warranty programs.

"Making more profit for our retail partners means doing things more efficiently and effectively and that's what this new facility will do," he said.

Phoenix AMD International's new address is 41 Butler Court; Bowmanville, Ontario L1C 4P8. Their telephone and fax numbers remain the same at (800) 661-7313 and (905) 427-2166 respectively.
