CONCORD, Ontario (16 July 2012) – Worldwide Homefurnishings has completed an extensive renovation of its showroom here. The privately-held importer has posted a tour of the facility on You Tube, the video social media platform. Encompassing 5,000 square feet of display space over two floors, the showroom’s design elements include a soaring ceiling and rich hardwood floors. “We wanted to give both our showroom and our product representation a fresh, updated look and of course make it more designer friendly,” Ronnie Mehta, company president, said in a statement. Mehta describes the showroom’s interior as a “loft-like space” with an expansive, open feeling featuring colourful and distinctive room arrangements. The project to re-design the space was led by Worldwide sales manager Christine Pavlovich. “Our customers will now be able to see how our products can complement one another in a room-type setting,” Pavlovich said, adding, “Ultimately; the end consumer will better visualize how our products will look in their home.” The renovation also compliments Worldwide’s newly formatted catalogue that was released earlier this year.
