MOUNT ARLINGTON, New Jersey (30 May 2012) - Retail technology specialist Storis has announced that The Dufresne Group (TDG) has chosen its Vision9 Enterprise Solution as its new retail platform for use in all of its stores in Ontario and Western Canada. "This was a significant decision for our organization, as Vision9 will take our retail ERP (enterprise resource planning) platform to the next level of sophistication," TDG chief executive officer Mark Dufresne said in a statement. The family owned and operated retailer will deploy several Storis companion products with the installation of Vision9, including: Data Warehouse Business Intelligence applications; Storis' e-commerce platform; the eStoris - Virtual Store; Radio Frequency Bar Code; MicroD's Exim eCommerce software; and, its electronic payment processing system utilizing CitiFinancial. "We are pleased that after The Dufresne Group's detailed assessment of leading ERP solutions, our Vision9 platform was selected," Storis president and CEO Donald J. Surdoval added. "Continuing our partnership with progressive retailers like The Dufresne Group is highly rewarding and continues to expand our platform of collaboration with some of the finest home furnishing retailers in the world." TDG operates Dufresne Furniture & Appliances, an 11-unit banner with stores in Ontario and Manitoba as well 12 Ashley Furniture Home Stores across Western Canada. Earlier this year, it was named one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies for the thirteenth consecutive year. |
