Registration opens for summer LVM PDF Print E-mail

LAS VEGAS (21 May 2012) - Registration and hotel bookings for the upcoming summer 2012 edition of the Las Vegas Market is now open, with the organizers announcing attendees can get "early bird" discounts at a number of hotels if they book before this coming Thursday.

This year's summer edition of LVM will be held from July 30 to August 3 at the World Market Center (WMC).

Previous attendees can take advance of the market's Quick Reg system, which allows those retailers, designers, media, buyers and other industry professionals who have a WMCommunity profile to register with just one click of a computer mouse and receive their badges before the show. When users log onto their WMCommunity profile and click "register" on the dashboard, a confirmation page will be displayed.

First time registrants should visit the market's web site - at www.lasvegasmarket.com - to benefit from a streamlined registration process. Once registered, the Quick Reg feature will automatically be available for future registrations.

These ultra-discounted hotels (available through May 24 or until sold out) are only available through WMC's official housing site. Discounted and early bird rates include:

Canadian existing home sales remain strong in June, CREA says
OTTAWA (20 July 2015) - After four consecutive months of growth, the existing home market edged back by 0.8% from May to June, although on an actual basis sales were up 11% from June 2014, according to the latest figures from the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA). Figures also confirmed there are two housing markets in Canada. One is Toronto and Vancouver, the other being the rest of the country.

CFS 2016 to open May 28
TORONTO (15 July 2015) - The 2016 edition of the Canadian Furniture Show (CFS) will open for a three-day, trade-only run at the International Centre here on Saturday, May 28. There will be no Consumer Day.
