Registration opens for summer LVM |

LAS VEGAS (21 May 2012) - Registration and hotel bookings for the upcoming summer 2012 edition of the Las Vegas Market is now open, with the organizers announcing attendees can get "early bird" discounts at a number of hotels if they book before this coming Thursday.
This year's summer edition of LVM will be held from July 30 to August 3 at the World Market Center (WMC). Previous attendees can take advance of the market's Quick Reg system, which allows those retailers, designers, media, buyers and other industry professionals who have a WMCommunity profile to register with just one click of a computer mouse and receive their badges before the show. When users log onto their WMCommunity profile and click "register" on the dashboard, a confirmation page will be displayed. First time registrants should visit the market's web site - at www.lasvegasmarket.com - to benefit from a streamlined registration process. Once registered, the Quick Reg feature will automatically be available for future registrations. These ultra-discounted hotels (available through May 24 or until sold out) are only available through WMC's official housing site. After spending most of my adult life in retail, I can confidently say it's all about the brand. A store's service can be trumped and prices are a race to the bottom, especially in today's economy.
