HIGH POINT, North Carolina (14 March 2011) - 38 Special will be the headline act for the Stars Under the Stars entertainment series at the upcoming spring edition of the High Point Market. The High Point Market Authority has announced that the concert series will kick-off on opening day (April 2) with a concert by country music group BlackHawk. Southern rock group 38 Special - whose hits include Hold on Loosely, Rockin' into the Night and Back Where You Belong - will perform on April 3. The series will conclude on April 4 with a performance by funky-fresh band Sleeping Booty. This band has opened for legendary groups such as KC and the Sunshine Band, The B52s, Earth Wind & Fire, and Chicago. ![]() 38 Special will headline this spring's Stars Under the Stars concert series at the upcoming High Point Market.
