MONTREAL (09 September 2009) - SF Marketing Inc. has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Touchstone Home Products Inc. that will bring the latter's line of television lift cabinets to the Canadian marketplace.

The Milpitas, California-based Touchstone is a leader in the design and manufacture of TV lift cabinets and offers one of the most comprehensive lines in the industry. With full-size cabinets accommodating flat panel televisions up to 55 inches, mid-size cabinets for screens up to 42 inches and luxurious end-of-bed cabinets designed for the bedroom, Touchstone offers consumers the right mix of style and function that maximizes space while enhancing the in-home entertainment experiences.

"The explosive growth and surge in consumer demand in the U.S. market accelerated our expansion plans. It's the right time for Touchstone to establish its Canadian presence and we sought the right partner," Touchstone chief executive officer Jeff Sheahan said in a statement.

SF Marketing is ideally positioned and well-skilled in bringing innovative consumer electronic products to the Canadian market."

SF Marketing will also be distributing Touchstone's proprietary dual actuator Whisper Lift that lies at the heart of the larger cabinets and the Turbo Lift, which is used in smaller and lighter models. These proprietary lifts are being made available to custom installers who have traditionally worked with local cabinet makers in providing high-end home theatre solutions.

Retail price points for a mid-size Touchstone cabinet or end-of-bed cabinet start at $2,600 and range up to $3,200 for a large model. Side cabinets start at $700.
