Happy Holidays from HGO PDF Print E-mail
Written by HGO Staff
BRIGHTON, Ontario - All of us here at Home Goods Online would like to wish everyone in our industries a Happy Holiday Season and a Joyous, Peaceful and Prosperous New Year. In honour of the season, HGO will not publish a newsletter next week - Tuesday, 30 December 2008 - but will resume a regular schedule the following week, which is the beginning of the New Year.

The home page will be updated tomorrow, Christmas Eve, and again next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (29 to 31 December 2008). We will resume our normal daily updates on Monday, 05 January 2009.

Next year will see the introduction of many new features that we believe will provide everyone in big ticket home goods in this country with every more information, news and analysis that will have real meaning in your business everyday.

We are always more than delighted to hear from you, whether it be with feedback on what we are already doing or with story ideas and nominations for profiles. Nothing inspires success like reading about fellow independent retailers who are themselves successful.

Please don't hesitate to contact Michael Knell, HGO's publisher and editor, with your suggestions or ideas at or Tom Philip, senior writer, at

We are looking forward to a great 2009!
