VUDU, NetStreams deliver Multi-room video distribution

SANTA CLARA, California - VUDU and NetStreams announced this week that they will deliver multi-room video distribution solutions using the VUDU XL as the video server.

When connected to the DigiLinX IP-Based Distributed Audio, Video and Control system, content from the VUDU XL set top box can be distributed throughout the home and controlled with DigiLinX. The VUDU XL has one terabyte of storage, allowing users to watch movies in multiple rooms rather than having access through one TV.

VUDU offers more than 5,000 movies directly to TVs without requiring a PC, cable or satellite TV subscription. NetStreams will make a new driver as a separate download.

The VUDU/NetStreams partnership was announced earlier this year at EHX 2008.
